I was born in Warren, Ohio in 1974. My family moved to Newton Falls in 1989. I graduated from Newton Falls High School in 1993 where I played football and baseball. I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and left for boot camp in Parris Island in 1993, where I served as an H-1 Light Attack helicopter mechanic for 6 years until I was honorably discharged. I married my wife of 21 years in 1995, and after I completed my service in the Marines we returned to Newton Falls where we built our home and currently reside. In 2001 our family was blessed with the addition of our son, Andrew, who is 14 years old and entering his freshman year at Newton Falls.

I am a member of AMVETS where I serve as 3rd Vice Commander for the Department of Ohio and as Commander for Post 112 in Newton Falls, I am a member of VFW 3332 in Newton Falls, and I am a proud member of the Newton Falls Veterans Honor Guard.
