Historic USO Celebration Ceremony!
The Newton Falls Preservation Foundation has received a historic plaque from the Trumbull County Historical Society recognizing the Newton Falls U.S.O. Building as a significant historic structure in Trumbull County. A celebration ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 21 at Noon on the grounds of the Village Park, 52 W. Quarry St., Newton Falls. Please join us for this special occasion.
A reception will immediately follow.

Historic USO Receives Recognition!
It is official, the application submitted by the Newton Falls Preservation Foundation to the Trumbull County Historical Society for our Community Center is successful. The Plaque recognizing the historical role played by this NF landmark as a USO during WWII will be awarded to the Foundation. A special thanks goes to Connie Smith Talcott, Jim Talcott, Dr Everend Smith and everyone who made this possible. On to Columbus OH December 8 for the review of the our application to the National List of Historic Places.
